I am so excited to bring to you a January series to help you soften into the new year, whilst building some good habits. This is a programme taking place all month, pairing yoga practices with creative sessions. So many of us talk about wanting to bring more movement into our lives, especially with the blank slate of a new year. Another thing we talk about regularly is how we want to bring more creativity into our lives. This programme aims to fulfil both of those hopes and dreams in a soft, slow way- the way that the depth of winter would want us to start anew. It will be on zoom, from the comfort of your own homes, meaning you can be in your pyjamas, with cups of tea and candles on if that is something that speaks to you.
Our Wednesday sessions will be yoga, movement and meditation, followed by a creative practice.
Our intention is to move, breathe and reflect, before settling into creative exercises, with a cup of tea in hand.
We’ll explore themes such as winter folklore and mythology, eco-poetry and soft subtle intention setting.
Our Saturday sessions will be yoga and journalling based.
We will explore vinyasa, yin, somatic practices, breathwork, medition, and journalling to set you up for new beginnings.
About the Facilitator:
I’m Polly, founder of Love Club!
I’ve been teaching yoga for seven years, and running creative sessions from creative writing and poetry, to life-drawing and printmaking for four years!
I believe with my entire being that everyone is inherently creative- we just need to give ourselves the time and space to play with it. I created Love Club with the aim of providing that space and I’d love you you to be a part of it!
